Our beeswax candles are made with only natural beeswax from Little Wren Farm’s Certified Naturally Grown apiary and cotton wicks. We use no chemical additives and, as always, there is no plastic in our packaging ~ just biodegradable materials.

When ordering beeswax candles, choose from the following shapes and sizes by using the drop down list below (and don’t forget to check out all the photos!):

Star – This small star candle is a perfect gift for a holiday or special occasion. It measures approx. 2″ in diameter.

Flower – Intricately detailed rose candle measuring approximately 2″ in diameter.

Heart – Says it all. Measures approximately 2″ across.

Pine cone – Gorgeous, small pine cone measuring approximately 1.75″ in diameter.

Spiral taper (small) – A pair of spiraled tapers measuring approximately 3.5″ in length.

Spiral taper (medium) – A pair of spiraled tapers measuring approximately 7″ in length.

Birthday candles – A set of 10 birthday candles, each measuring approximately 3.5″ in length.

Burning Instructions: Trim wick to 1/4″ before each use. Only burn candles on a level, stable, and fire-resistant surface. Avoid drafty areas and keep the wax pool free of foreign materials. Keep burning candles away from flammable objects, children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Originally of Carniolan stock, our queens are northern-bred hybrids open mated here at the Little Wren Farm apiary from lines selected for traits including overwintering success, health, gentleness, and honey production. Prior to sale, our queens are mated and proven - demonstrating a good pattern of worker brood over a minimum of two weeks. Unless otherwise stated in our correspondence with you, our queens are first-year queens, mated in the year of sale. Each is marked with the standard color of the year (in 2024, this is green). This items is only available for curbside pick-up at Little Wren Farm. After your order is confirmed, you will receive an email from Little Wren Farm to coordinate pick-up date and time. Important Note: After a queen leaves our apiary, we cannot be responsible for queen health or performance, but we’re always very happy to answer questions or share advice. Raw Honey in Muth Jar – 16 oz
Little Wren Farm's raw honey bottled in a 16-ounce, old-fashioned glass Muth jar and sealed with a cork and our own natural beeswax.  These embossed jars make a wonderful gift and are a reproduction of the first jar used specifically for honey and popularized by Charles Muth in the 1800’s. The 16 oz Muth jar is the largest of the three in the photograph and is approximately 7" tall (the other two Muth jars in the photo are our 4 oz. and 8 oz. Muth jars, and are available sold separately). All of our honey is produced by the honey bees at the Little Wren Farm apiary in western Massachusetts. To preserve the honey’s natural flavor and qualities, our honey has never been heated above temperatures naturally found in the hive and our honey is not filtered. If you’re unfamiliar with raw honey, please read the Description section below about raw honey and crystallization.
